Terrace Concepts

Alfresco as Design Extension

Terrace concepts treat outdoor seating as a continuation of interior narrative — not an afterthought. We study threshold transitions from dining room to pavement, material changes underfoot, and how azure sky tones interact with terracotta flooring choices.

Every terrace study responds to Málaga's climate: heat shimmer, evening breeze paths, and seasonal shade angles.

Shade Structure Concepts

Pergola, sail, and retractable canopy concepts are drawn as proportional sketches — timber section, fabric translucency, and shadow patterns on tabletops at 14:00 and 19:00. We do not engineer wind loads or structural permits.

Shade studies include reference photography and material finish notes for concept presentation.

Planting and Planter Logic

Mediterranean planting concepts — olive, bougainvillea, ornamental grass — define spatial edges and acoustic softening. Planter proportions, drainage concept notes, and irrigation placeholders appear as design annotations, not landscape contracts.

Furniture and Floor Treatments

Outdoor furniture silhouettes, stone paver patterns, and raised decking concepts are composed for visual rhythm. We specify tonal ranges and weave textures without issuing purchase orders or maintenance schedules.

Terrace concept packages from €2,350 EUR.

Regulatory Awareness

Our terrace concepts note typical municipal setback and licensing considerations as design constraints — useful for client conversations with local authorities. We do not submit permit applications or represent projects before Ayuntamiento de Málaga.
